This article is about the countless number of women who have come out and accused Bill Cosby of Sexual assault and rape since the 1980's. Many women in the industry are too ashamed to come out and say that he drugged and raped them, but it is common knowledge with the people in Hollywood. I don't know how many of these women were making it up for the fame, but the fact that it was common knowledge with so many people is truly horrible. There are so many people in this industry that care too much about their fame to tell the police about important things like this. If the first woman that this happened to told the police and got him arrested, then so many other women wouldn't have gone to his house and this wouldn't have happened to them. I'm relating this to our class and A.P. US gov by talking about women's rights. Rape is a very serious crime that is overlooked in Hollywood and these women deserve justice.
Harry, I completely agree, I think rape is so overlooked but continues to be a growing problem for women everywhere. I think it was very courageous of these women to come out and make such hard choice to let the public know of the crimes committed against them and that more should be done to encourage survivors to go to the police and report the crime
ReplyDeleteHi Harry , I also agree with you. It's ceaxg that something that has now turned into madness could've been prevented so simply. Nipped in the bud early so others wouldn't have to go through the same pain , not saying it positively did happen
